Here's part of "historic" downtown Vermillion.
Our apartment is the corner one, which is above an art gallery.
A snapshot of the inside of the "cubbyhole." Note Flan sitting in the window.
Old Main on the campus of the University of South Dakota where Nate will be going to school.
Spirit Mound, six miles north of Vermillion. Lewis & Clark "climbed" this on August 25, 1804.

Great to see the blog go live. Been waiting on seeing those pictures, and look forward to plenty more where that came from!
Woohoo!! Nate and Amy get webby... Sure do miss you guys tons, but it will be great to get updates on my newsfeeder. BTW, my sis is pregs and I'm going to be an aunt!!! Yay!
I'm also a little jealous...I've always wanted to live above a store in one of those little downtown areas...you can tell me if you think it is overrated, though.
Wow! Your apartment is sure small. What's it like living by a art place. Have you been in it? Your cat is huge! Does Flan like living in South Dakota? I hope we get to see more pictures everyday. Keep them coming.
Hey Nate and Amy,
Congrats on winning "Who wants to be a Vermillionaire".
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that "Vermillion" is Latin for "Frolicking Goiter".
Great to hear from you guys.

Why does Vermillion seem SO much more mysterious and glamorous when seen on the 'net?
I must say Nate & Amy that your apartment looks rather cozy. Dad
